New California Marine Santuary

Air Date: Week of

Claire Greene reports on the creation of what will soon be the nation's largest marine sanctuary, centered around California's Monterey Bay. The sanctuary will provide broad but not complete protection for the area, which is home to a wide array of marine wildlife and unique geologic features. The dedication of the sanctuary this fall will cap a 15-year effort, and may be a feather in the environmental cap of President Bush.
